While API's are interesting for the traders here, the story I continue to watch is demand. The economy is still pretty much humming along. There is little buffer on the supply side even if the Saudi's go all out. Unless the economy starts to stumble, I doubt we'll see crude under $25 any time soon. At $25 bucks the industry does very well.

The wild card is the election. If Gore should win and have a Democratic Congress, then all bets are off.
