I was thinking that the continued response, late, could just be difficulty in assessing "complete" in a reactive node. That is, it might just take awhile for a stage IV patient to look normal beyond when he/she really is? If not, then I'd start to think like an immunologist (anti-id). But, I think that immunologists tend to make things complex when they're simple.
