I am almost certain George Zimmerman is going to be convicted of manslaughter, at the very least. The jury (which, after all, is most likely made up of a majority of low-information voters, since it is a reflection of the populace itself) will fear violent social repercussions, should they acquit him.
The travesty of justice that will signify is incomprehensible.
I saw Zimmerman interviewed on Hannity a week or so ago. I am generally a very good judge of character, and he seemed incapable of the kind of acting job that would be required to portray what I saw. He appeared 100% genuine, and a man of great humility, honesty, fairness, and concern for the neighborhood in which he lives. There isn't a racist bone in his body. As a matter of fact, his history proves him to be a champion of the underdog, no matter the underdog's skin color.
This American Thinker commentary is by far the best article I have read on the trial, and on Zimmerman's background. He should be hailed as an American hero rather than a criminal, and if he is convicted of anything, American justice, for the average citizen, has ceased to exist.
