I really like the RCA Monitor hanging on the wall with the real wood cabinet and "hand rubbed finish" LOL.

I can remember my father bragging about some such "hand rubbed finish" on our first RCA color tv...no wonder it was junk.

I think there was an article posted here pointing out how RCA and Zenith couldn't keep up with Japanese electronic component manufacturing , and their answer was marketing the hand rubbed finish instead.

Remember that one the next time someone rails against competition.
