Rather than taking all these steps at the end point of the system -- the kid walking into a theater without his parents -- we should be addressing the front end -- why is society not helping parents exert parental responsiblity and control? I think you're missing the point, unintentionally or intentionally. Giving the parent a tool to control what his kids see is the beauty of the rating system. The kid is stopped at the door unless mom or dad gives consent by showing up with the kid. What different help for parents did you have in mind? Or am I not allowed to ask that question?
