After serving time, he was elected as a Florida federal congressman. He is black, apparently from the same subculture that just re-elected Warren Barry to public office in Washington DC. There are not many places in America where convicted felons get elected to office, it appears to be places where being convicted of a felony is no big deal. Maybe it's cynicism. Lots of white politicians who should be doing time are walking around scot free, the black ones just don't have enough friends in high places. Whatever.
