It's kleptocracy, suffocatocracy, welfarism and socialism which are causing the problems, not that Great Britain cut NZ adrift or that NZ voted for independence. We [the present Kiwis] are the new Maoris. Rich Chinese show up, throw us a few beads and blankets in exchange for our property, and being economially useless, we accept with delight. They move in. Pretty soon, they are telling us to speak Mandarin, gaoling opponents of the mass migration, and voting to generally turn NZ into a copy of China. I must say, I have plenty of sympathy with the idea that child torturers and other evil criminals will be executed and their body parts sold to the highest bidders. But the suppressive nature of China is unattractive. They don't bother with that habeas corpus, human rights ideology with common law which Great Britain has as foundations [ignored all too often].
