jim, RE: How much do you expect to make off a short at ~ $11 per share?

What does the nominal price of a share have to do with anything?

Hint: Which trade makes more money--a short of 1,000 shares at $100 when the stock goes to $50, or a short of 10,000 shares of a stock when the stock goes to $5?

As always, any short sale has a potential for 100% upside and unlimited downside.

Would you care to elaborate on the nature of the long's fraud is?

Actually, what I said was that I saw the fraud on the bullish side, as opposed to the bearish fraud that wstera saw. Specifically, there are people that are bearish on Rambus that have received rather strongly worded emails 'requesting' silence. When I have called Rambus to ask questions, I have always thought that the person talking to me had something to hide. It isn't anything specific I can tell you, but it has been a consistent feeling I've gotten. Even in their public conferences and statements, Rambus management has taken great pains to word things specifically so that they are truthful yet misleading.

Conduct like this is consistent with the situations of fraud that I've seen in the past.
