Islam immigrant populations don't grow that quickly so that dark vision must implicitly assume an admission of Turkey and a flooding of Europe by Turkish workers.

Not necessarily. It's not only a matter of fast the immigrant populations are growing, but how fast the European populations aren't growing. European birth rates are below replacement levels, in some cases severely below. Who is going to fill the void, keep populations up, pay taxes to support all those pensions? Will they really have a choice about taking in immigrants?

The US will face this problem too, but to a much smaller degree, as US populations is growing at more than replacement levels without immigration. Still, if Europe will be Islamic by the end of the century, the US will be Hispanic. I like our future prospects better at this moment.
