This from Briefing.com: 08:50 ET: The S&P futures are off 3.4 points and therefore trading 4 points below fair value, suggesting a negative open for the Dow of about 35 points... Interest rates are bit higher this morning, which is not a good sign for stocks... The 30-year Treasury is off 5/32 and yielding 6.04%, but seems to be holding steady... Lehman Brothers (LEH 60 5/16) posted better-than-expected Q2 earnings, while eBay (EBAY 152 1/16) to acquire Germany's largest online trading company, alando.de AG. BTY! D.
