LET'S MAKE A DEAL: PAKISTAN MAY SEEK TO TRADE HERO DOCTOR FOR TERRORIST

Pakistan is readying to propose a trade wherein it frees the doctor who helped the CIA pinpoint Osama bin Laden and in exchange the U.S. releases an Al Qaeda operative being held in a federal prison in Texas.

As Fox News reported, Dr. Shakil Afridi is a "pro-America doctor whose vaccination ruse helped establish the terror kingpin's presence in an Abbottadad compound."

Dr. Aafia Siddiqui was a Massachusetts based doctor who fled the U.S. after 9/11, was captured trying to kill U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan, and is now being held in Texas.

Khalid Sheikh Muhammed has identified Siddiqui as an Al Qaeda operative and courier. Siddiui is serving a sentence of 86 years at a maximum security prison in Texas, and she denies any involvement with Al Qaeda.

A Pakistani official spoke of the proposed prisoner exchange on condition of anonymity, and said the details of the proposal are "still being drafted."
