I'm in downtown San Francisco today..college kids(mirror of what I once was) with clip boards and DNC badges.."Would you like to help us elect John Kerry for president?"...my response..."Well, if you help me elect George Bush first..deal?"...jaw dropped..speechless, walked away..My next thought.."Not even going to try convincing me?..what conviction do you have?...If you're going to take to the streets for your candidate..must do better than that... I hope I run into a young republican asking me the same thing and my response will be the same but substituting Kerry..interesting..I wish the youngin's much luck re: independent thinking.. Zeta
