I don't think the earnings loss was a surprise to the street. The real question seems to be whether the imagine 128 series 2 board will generate significant business. In my opinion it will since it offers at least twice the performance of any competitors 3D/2D graphics card including the recent press releases from companies like diamond multimedia for their 3D/2D board the Fire GL.
