The analysts don't care. They just change their opinions and pretend like they predicted what was going to happen BEFORE it happened. Analysts say "buy" when the stock hits its peak, and they say "sell" when the stocks bottom. I'm not all that impressed, but I don't think they care what I think. Anyway, they're not out there giving away free advice because they're public-spirited guys. They are serving, in order of importance: * Their own interests * Their clients' interests * The forces of chaos and perversity Nowhere in this list would you find "people looking for free, quality advice." Advice is worth about what you pay for it, if not considerably less. -- David Pletcher
