Purchasers 5/28/97 - 5/12/99

On May 12, 1999, after the close of trading, Candie's, Inc. admitted that it would likely be forced to restate earnings for fiscal 1998 and the first three quarters of 1999, due to the material overstatement of revenue and earnings during the period. Candies warned that investors should not rely on previously reported financial statements for the period. Finally, Candies said it would not report fiscal 1999 results within the time frame of a previously granted extension. Following the Candie's disclosure, Nasdaq halted trading in Candie's common stock on May 13, 1999.
