Mark U(United). Nope. S(Socialist). Anachronism. S(Soviet). Anachronism R(Republic). Not. Russia needs us to feed and clothe them. Some extremists might make some noises and bluffs to gain some media attention but ultimately we control the purse strings. Really. Russia of '91 when Bush might have paid attention is different from Russia '99. Its the new sick man of europe(and asia). Their military is so demoralized that they got their behinds kicked by bantams like Chechnya and Afghanistan. Judging from a recent WSJ article, they haven't got paid in months(I sure won't have a lot of morale if I don't get a paycheck every 2 weeks!). Conventionally they don't have a prayer of matching US(they have always lagged in quality. Now they even lag in quantity). You will soon see some choice "USSR" equipment decimated in the upcoming NATO attack. I seriously doubt that they would resort to an unconventional(nuke/biologial) attack over Iraq or Serbia. << Dude, your quite young and without much military knowledge. >> I am a quick study. I may write informally. Don't read too much into my use of the vernacular.
