I was not doing things that are not permitted on purpose. When I was booted on Raginbull, I thought what I said was not welcome and tried a less marketing approach, under the name of datashaping (which you know is same as vincentg64).
If I was booted again from Raging bull or SI, I would not post again on these boards (spammers, to the contrary, increase their annoyance when they receive negative feedback, until they are somehow out of business). Anyway, I have the feeling that enough people have seen my site and start getting bored. So inevitably, there will be considerably less marketing of this type in the future.
However, I needed to answer one fundamental question: how many visitors do I need to get to produce one sale. Now I have one answer: no sale with 20,000 visitors. I can not spend advertising money with this product with such a low level of response. Thus, I will also stop the present advertising campaign. At least, this is something I've figured out in three months. Many other internet companies went bankrupt or spent $$$ before arriving to the same conclusion.
So now, I will investigate a new business model, focusing on other products. I will also propose (and continue to develop) these strategies, but they will be available for free (including the programs that generate the keys), to the benefit of everybody except the competition. And my marketing strategy will be radically different.
Isoman an others, thank you. Thanks to you guys, I know now in which direction to go with datashaping. You have inspired me a very good idea tonight, and solve some problems I had. |
