Well, since it's obviously going to the courts, it will be interesting to see how it plays out. I think they are wrong to try to stop shipment of Win98 though. That's totally unreasonable, and I don't think that the DOJ has the authority to do that, regardless of what powers they bestow on themselves. I have never heard of such a move; to my limited knowledge it is unprecedented to stop shipment of a legal product.

If I was MSFT I would get the trucks rolling at 12:01AM Monday morning. I hope they have the CDs all manufactured and ready.

OTOH, I do like Corel WordPerfect Suite, and I think it's wrong for MSFT if they have contracts with some OEMs barring OEMs from shipping Corel products. I know that MSFT doesn't have those contracts will all PC mfrs, but the truth is that the number of vendors offering Corel WordPerfect Suite has got pretty slim. Why, I don't know. Perhaps that will come out in the trial.
