Jobs is on CNBC now. He pointed to overall better gross margin and cost cutting as the reason for the profit. Nothing about charge reversal..(for now)

He said Apple is doing pretty well in Japan. Hurting a little like all tech companies in asia but not too bad.

Steve just walked off on the interview because he was asked about the whether he will take the CEO position! Apparently there was an agreement not to talk about the subject.
