I lived in the NYC suburbs most of my life, in the suburbs of Chicago now to help look after elderly inlaws, but I also have family in San Diego and have spent a lot of time there. If you want perfect weather, that's where you eventually want to end up. It's in my longer term plan. 70 in August, and I've been there when it's been 70 in January. No mosquitos so you can sit by the pool in the evening. 15 minutes to the beach in Del Mar from where my family lives.. Pretty damn nice... John
