Kathy, the rude remarks bother me too. There are many teachers who try to use these threads in high school business classes but are put off by the unprofessional remarks. I think most SI members are professionals, but some feel that the anonymous keyboard gives them the right (maybe even the obligation?) to be rude and vulgar in a way that they would never do in the office.
