Ezra,

All of my previous posts on the subject of government regulation are my own opinion, but you can see I base it on what I read. What I have read so far is that the SEC began its "investigation" on March 18, 1997, and suspended trading on May 9 with an announcement that said it was investigating certain things. So far I have not seen any indication that the SEC has accomplished anything by its "investigation", even though it would be such a simple exercise it should have been completed long before trading was suspended. The SEC finally got around to getting GRNO to change law firms which GRNO did. The only thing the SEC could say it accomplished was suppression of free speech by GRNO investors and to serve as an example to all the world of how the SEC maintains law and order in its wild and wooly world of Reg S bulletin board flim flam stocks. By doing this to GRNO, they have revealed the true nature of themselves to all those who do research into how the SEC operates.

I couldn't begin to assess the true value of GRNO based on the fact that the SEC is "investigating" the company. I suppose it all depends on your perception of the value of the SEC. The NASD won't allow its market makers to trade GRNO stock as long as the SEC won't approve GRNO's filings.
