"It could be a skillful and effective piece of cinematic art" There are few who are unmoved by the human drama of great suffering for heroic ideas. And sacrifice holds a fascination for most people--the voluntary relinquishment of a value (perhaps a value so precious as our own life). The very theme of this one puts him 9/10th of the way towards an evocative blockbuster of movie history! But will it be "true"? Well, it might be true to one or another interpretation of the gospels. But there is no historical truth to check it against. No historian of the time knew anything of these "events". Will it be a great picture? I suspect it will. I hope so...
