C Carlos,

When you are talking revenue growth, earnings growth whatever,
comparing the EPS with stocks that have different number of
outstanding shares isn't valid.

You can however compare percentage growth:
Take a look at actual EPS for 1996 and First Call
earning estimates for 1997:

SIII 1996 1997 TRID 1996 1997

Mar .25 .30 EST Sep .26 .42
Jun .18 .32 EST Dec .37 .48
Sep .23 .34 EST Mar .38 .49 EST
Dec .29 .37 EST Jun .38 .48 EST
-------------- ---------------
.95 1.32 -- +42% 1.38 1.86 -- +35%

How does H&Q come to the conclusion that TRID is the better company?

Bob
