Abramoff was the rightwing's #1 bagman. Very simple. He brought the cash and paid for the tabs. But in exchange he demanded that those who took his cash trade favors, including selling votes on legislation.

Unfortunately for the GOP, every culprit in this bribery scheme of Abramoff's is a rightwing Republican.
