That’s why, when - for months - NY was showing test positivity rate of under 1%, I was saying that a large majority of their “positives” were false positives.

You can assume that many among the people taking the test have symptoms. They have something that worries them. So, the prevalence of positivity among them, if anything, is likely to be higher that the prevalence of the disease in the general population. This means that with a positivity rate of, let’s say, 0.7%, they hardly have any real infections. Most of their “positive” tests are false.

Using 40-45 replications (cycles) when NO live virus can be shown after 35 replications is a disaster. They close schools and have people lock themselves at home for weeks over infections that are... fictions. That don’t exist. And they call it following the science!
