All: According to Barrons (current issue), the Internet has a 4 layer protocol for returns from the Internet. Top of the food chain are the NSP's , then the Carriers who own the highways, then the Network Vendors and last but at excellent valuations are the semi-conductor Chip manufacturers who are subcontractors to the vendors.
