New info out today at 2:30 pm EST from AXC in an updated registration statement filed on EDGAR. This amended their original filing on 6/3/96 which was for a 1.15 million share offering to raise funds for KM. It's been passed on to me that the company does not appreciate the excerpts from their 10-Q which I placed on this board 3 weeks ago so I'll point out some interesting items and let everyone read the filing on their own. I got it from the real-time EDGAR system so it probably won't be on the public EDGAR for a day or two. AXC says it has provided drafts of proposed purchase agreements to certain OEM's including price. AXC continues to negotiate with several manufacturers. AXC says that in light of the number OEM's that have indicated interest in KM, and recent tests indicating that KM may work with MR heads, it may want to hold talks with additional OEM's before finalizing terms of an initial agreement. AXC says it conducted tests with an OEM and a head manufacturer using KM with MR heads with favorable results in November '96. AXC says it believes that based on recent testing KM can work with MR heads although it has not done sufficient testing to be sure the two will work in a commercial production. Their are other interesting details regarding negotiations which I encourage all to read on their own. Steve
