David Elias, Elias Asset Management, Stock Pickers Club (CPQ, DIS, MER, MWD, KO)
Sees exuberance in the market for the first time since'87
Exuberance in tech stocks ok for long term, in near-term thinks it is unfounded—getting ahead of themselves.
Financials like FNM, AIG are fairly valued and are great buys.
Also thinks pharmaceuticals are great buys at this time.
Fear of inflation is misplaced. 3 reasons why: 1) Have to have cooperation of central banks to have loose money so inflation can be created. 2) Bond markets keep inflation in check 3) Technology is bringing prices down.
CPQ Did everything wrong for 18-24 months. Seems like have turned a corner, have seen the bottom. One of highest insider buying on NYSE. Great deal of upside potential. Thinks changes in management are good for the stock.

DIS Made some mistakes, but worst is behind them. Has timeless product, thinks will be in mid-‘30's.
MER MWD has made new highs, MER needs to be more proactive, which they will do and will be a major powerhouse once again.
