Jeff,

Banshee2 needs to be more than just a .35 -> .25 micron shrink. They need to add real support for AGP, add a second TMU and allow the ability to run with greater color depth. Visual quality is going to be very important next year and it is already starting to show up as a weakness for TDFX this year. I believe that if TNT and Banshee stay the same as they are today and there is merely a process shrink for both then TDFX could have some problems. I would rather run a game at 60 fps in 32 bit color then one at 90 fps in 16 bit color.

So since TDFX does not release their roadmaps, what features do the people here think Banshee2 and Rampage are going to have to have in order to be succesfull when they are introduced ?

Eric
