Jim, good point, usually market makers manipulate the stocks as you stated for porfit, but they also do that to keep the price steady to control the volatility and in this case, keeping the price down for a good reason. If there were negative news that we just don't know about, I think that it is to the market maker's advantage to allow the price to go up and then sell for a huge profit before the news is out but this is not the case here, maybe this is a positive. What do you think??
