JDN, You are right on about the price war issue. Intel is deliberately smashing AMD as far down as they can without wiping them out. Got to have that protection from the DOJ lawyers. Most AMD computers are advertised as cheap PCs and when they get in the store they are upgraded in most cases to a pentium machine. Only the dummy's buy the crap with the big promos.
