Donald Tsang was asked this question the other day, and he responded in the best way (I thought) he could. He said that the HK govt was considering setting up an independent holding entity to house all the shares, with the avowed aim of liquidating the holdings in an orderly fashion. Remains to be seen whether this is doable in a short time frame.

But of course the analysts would say this about the increased volatility - they are employed by the brokerage and financial houses after all <g>.......
