Check with your broker. I know Etrade has a form for "worthless stocks" that you can fill out. I'm assuming it isn't VUSA your referring too because that one is still trading.

As far as taking losses I still have gains to offset since I did well from January to March. Unfortunately, I put a lot of those gains back into the market and am down big time. I'm just glad I didn't put all the gains back and used some of the funds toward construction in my home.
