Gerald, It confirms that the S and P is still focussed on value stocks. No wonder the focus is shifting to the Nasdaq comp (OR Nasdaq100 index) as a benchmark.
Investors are getting impatient with S and P 500 funds (due to the low returns)as CNBC has been reporting on a regular basis.

S and P still avoided the growth stocks in this announcement. I guess we will have to wait and see what the next change will be.
