Whether it's Rove or DEAN or Limbaugh or whoever, the crotch-bashing politics of the 51% "strategy" have weakened the entire system. That's the whole point of this thread. If I am critical of Bush, it's because he is a principal perpetrator of that style in my view. So are DEAN and Hillary based on recent speeches - a total turnoff. My only hope is that America gets turned off by the bash-and-crash crap and the 2008 presidential nominees are relatively decent moderates. We shall see. Hey, that's 1700 posts with only a handful of bans and hardly a single major food fight. And some said it couldn't be done.
