Ron,
I discovered GRNO through a reference made on the MUCP thread on SI in November '96. After exchanging e-mail with several contributors, I subscribed to your newsletter and began my own due diligence.
Following the GRNO thread has exposed me to a lot of extremely sharp people, some supportive of GRNO and some not. In any case, many of you have provided many references to follow about GRNO, processes employed, related industries and markets, as well as the stock market and investing in general.
Through this thread, I have been exposed to more reference material to add to my own due diligence than I ever would have found on my own. In addition, I made several calls to GRNO, Microcap, and studied investor packets and video tapes from GRNO.
Being a west coast resident, I have not been able to visit the site, but still look forward to a visit.
I coincidently was contacted by one of those questionable stock promotion companies that was pitching GRNO among others, but that was after I had done my own homework and made several purchases.
Am I unhappy about the turn of events? You bet! Thanks to the SEC for screwing with the legitamate market.
No regrets for my actions, only those of my government.
Now a request to you all: I have not been able to follow the thread too closely through September. It looks as though little has changed in the big picture. I would appreciate if anyone could send me a brief synopsis or reference some of the more significant posts.
Thank you all for your contributions.
