Does the Xeon P4 @ 1.7 GHz with RDRAM smoke AMD Athlon or what.

2 Xeon 1.7 may cost you $800 but they appear to be worth it. You may be able to buy a second Athlon system systme for $800 but the MSFT extra software license may cost you a pretty penny if it is a server.
