In many ways, the Siemens-Westinghouse cell is much further along in development. It is a tubular cell, with an advantage in that they don't have the sealing problems associated with thermal cycling in stacked cells. They are efficient and reliable, but are bulky and expensive. -And they haven't attracted the attention of the automakers. My money is on GLE for now. ae
