Zeno WAS from Cypress-of Hellenized Phoenician origin. Nearly all the leaders of Stoic thought were "non-Greeks" and came "from the fringes of Greek settlement or well beyond". So what? This sounds like the hyphenated American debate. CLose the books. It's Saturday. Joe, I want you to go bowling and drink a few Bud Lights with some truckers.
