Agree with you on fab/test guys talking about overclocking. I thought the language was supspect too. But, it could have been that an overclocker may have presented the data he heard from a AMD guy in his own words. On the otherhand, you may be right and this may be a hoax.

The data, however, does seem in the ballpark...
