I agree. AMD chips are compatible and are cheaper. If they didn't exist, the Intel variety would be 3 times more expensive. Price is a big factor in this market. I bet we'll be talking about the sub $500 PC soon. Many people won't buy one yet because of price and they don't need the fastest one to surf the web and read email. The fastest PCs are needed only for running Microsoft Office and other bloated products.
