I don't think he'll ever get an 80% approval rating (but then again I never thought he'd get 72% either). The polls also show that 80% believe he did commit perjury and 60% believe he obstructed justice -- So go figure ... I can only conclude that the majority of Americans either don't understand the gravity of what he's done or don't care that their president is a felon -- at least as long as the economy keeps humming along and the stock market keeps going higher.

You said Newt Gingrich once defined insanity as "Doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting different results."

I don't believe it was Newt that said this, but it doesn't really matter. Doing the right thing, even if it's unpopular, is still the right thing to do.
