as long as you and the rest of the world's population enjoys turning on the lights at night and having food that doesn't spoil because they have a refrigerator and a cool house in the summer because they have an air conditioner, I am quite confident that coal will remain a dominant source of energy. The only thing that will change is that a different group of people gets to profit from it.

That is unless by some miracle this country adopts nuclear energy in the same manner in which France has. Even then, that will take 15-20 years to become a reality.

Meanwhile....the climate gets cooler and cooler....brrrrrrrr
