MB: I personally shorted stocks on my birthday, August 27, 1987. Made some money, was going on an extended assignment in Guam (15 hour and one day forward time change). So, figured I should get my affairs in order which included closing out my positions and taking profits. I did that on Friday, October 16. I have great timing. I have the confirmation slips framed to remind me of that. Regards, DWW
