Sun Tzu: Missed deadlines. The reason missed deadline will hammer the stock is that I as a shareholder can decide if I still have faith in the company to deliver. I'm just making my decision in advance. I suppose it's not fair to ask everyone else to do the same, but I knew I was buying stock in a company with no roadmap, and I knew what I was getting into. Don't get me wrong, though. I'm in favor of short term deadlines, like Banshee being due in September. This was in a discussion about roadmaps. What I don't think they should announce is what their deadlines are for 4Q99 or something (not until 3Q99, that is). It's a messy can of worms to open. Simon
