Intel's bus is at 100MHz quad pumped, and is a natural to hook up to PC1600.

I think the next version of P4, (coming in Q4), has a 100/133 FSB. With the i845 it supports PC100, PC133 and DDR200/PC1600. I can't think of a good reason it couldn't support DDR266/PC2100 if Intel wanted to.

BTW, quad pumped to 533MHz, P4 should support PC1066 RDRAM.
