Richard --

Good news! Thanks.

I'm glad the 500K wasn't Maxam!

I hope the early release of numbers by Maxam is done VERY carefully. If there is any run-up, the bad guys will swoop in with carefully groomed innuendo about the dangers of believing the "faulty" assays from Maxam, the "stories of influence of Maxam over the drillers" and/or some other fanciful canards. It might be better for Dale to tell the news privately to funding sources than to put it up front. I don't think the Maxam information would, in the face of the coming COC results, be considered to materially affect the price of the stock, would it? If it would, the disclaimers should reach the ceiling before any figures are given.

In any case, those of us who have confidence will not be frantic to hear in six weeks what we would hear in eight. Just a little longer for you and Char to accumulate. I can see the label on his Maxam account now: take 500 or 1000 shares as needed. (Between you, you certainly must be majority stockholders by now! Well, you and Dale and Char <G>)

Thanks again,

Ed
