My take was he said family and friends is what really matters in life. Talked a lot about thinking independently, about not expecting that politicians and big employers are concerned about making things better for us (they don’t; they want something from us, they like to exercise their power over us). Gave an example of a youngster who was very smart - but very unhappy at Princeton, where he was required to say not what he thought, but merely to regurgitate words and thoughts of others. He - Tucker - advised him to drop out, and offered him a job. The guy did it - and now, 4 years later, he’s a star at what he is doing, married and generally happy. Interesting story. Advises young people not to delay adulthood, embrace it as soon as they can, marry early, etc. Good talk.
