Islamic antisemitism has been on the rise in France. The EU migrant crisis has seen no-go zones spring up across the country and elsewhere, as the numbers of illegal Muslim migrants from North Africa soared into the hundreds of thousands. With no foresight by authorities, the consequences have been disastrous for peaceful citizens. Last June, the World Zionist Organization reported that French Jews were leaving for Israel in record numbers due to Islamic antisemitism, since France was “surrendering to jihad.”
Elsewhere in the EU:
- Five months ago, “Hungarian European Parliamentarian Balázs Hidvéghi declared more broadly that ‘radical Muslim antisemitism’ is on the rise in Europe thanks to massive illegal immigration.”
- In Sweden, Jews were reported to be hiding their identity as violent Islamic anti-Semitism increases.
- Even Angela Merkel has admitted that anti-Semitism is coming to the country from “refugees or people of Arab origin” (those were her own words). But rather than confront the problem head-on, the onus was thrown on Jews: the German government’s anti-Semitism commissioner warned Jews to avoid wearing kippahs in public.
- It was recently revealed that German authorities issued instructions that incidents of Islamic antisemitism must be registered as “right-wing” attacks.
The no-go zone of Seine-Saint-Denis has been described by the Daily Mail as the “jihadi capital of France,” the “Paris ghetto where guns are on sale ‘every 100 metres’ and terrorists flit to Syria and back ‘with ease.'” It is no wonder that Jews would find no peace there, given the scourge of Islamic antisemitism, rooted in Islamic doctrine.

The four people suspected of having insulted and assaulted a Jewish family on Thursday in Aubervilliers (Seine-Saint-Denis), were released. Their custody has been lifted, said the Bobigny prosecutor’s office on Sunday. Although no action has been taken at this stage, the procedure must be sent to the prosecution for “examination and assessment of the action to be taken”.
An assault in the middle of the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah
At approximately 8:40 p.m. Thursday, a family with children was in a car when they were attacked by a “group of individuals”, while the vehicle was playing “music and messages of peace in Hebrew” to the occasion of Hanukkah, the Jewish festival of lights, according to a source close to the investigation. The individuals uttered anti-Semitic insults, before “shaking the car and throwing glass bottles on the body”.
The four individuals, two adults in an irregular situation and two minors, were heard as part of an investigation into anti-Semitic insults and violence without days of ITT (temporary incapacity for work).
On Twitter, the Interior Ministry Gerald Darmanin was moved Friday by the fate of this family attacked “because they were Jewish”.
Last night, in the middle of Hanukkah, a family from Aubervilliers was insulted and assaulted for being Jewish. In France, in 2020. The perpetrators were arrested very quickly by the police. They should be punished commensurate with the gravity of these facts.

Police arrested four people, two of them illegal immigrants, in the Paris no-go suburbs of Seine-Saint-Denis on suspicion of assaulting a Jewish family which was celebrating Hanukkah.
The incident took place in the commune of Aubervilliers, Seine-Saint-Denis, on Thursday at around 8:40 pm when the Jewish family was in their vehicle listening to Hebrew music and “messages of peace”.
According to a report by broadcaster France Bleu, a group of people yelling antisemitic slurs approached the family, proceeding to shake the car and throw glass bottles at the vehicle.
Two fo [sic] the four suspects are said to be illegal adult migrants and the two others were minors, according to investigators….
